Volunteer Registration will begin on September 1st.

As you know, the Bright Leaf Brew Fest couldn't exist without the dedication and support of our many volunteers. In return for your help you will receive a 2016 event t-shirt, sample glass for tasting, and admission to your alternating shift.

Additionally, volunteers who work both shifts will receive a discount meal voucher from one of our food vendors, valid the day of the event and on site only. Plus to show our appreciation for volunteering the entire event you will receive additional swag to show our appreciation. 

Shifts

  • 1st   shift  - 1:30 - 5:30 
  • 2nd  shift - 4:30 - 8:30
  • Both shifts - 1:30 - 8:30

For those of you volunteering for the first time it will be unlikely you will receive a 1st shift only work assignment. We know everyone would prefer to work 1st shift.  However, we need just as many volunteers for 2nd shift as we do for 1st shift. When possible we try to be fair and give previous volunteers priority to work 1st shift only. 

Volunteers needed for the following positions:

  • Beer Server
  • Registration/Sales/Administration
  • Area Captain - Requires at least two years prior volunteer experience
  • Clean up/Tear down
  • ID checker - must have prior training
  • Volunteer check in
  • Ice runner
